The Miamisburg Sportsmen's Club is proud to partner with America's fastest growing Marksmanship Program, The Appleseed Project, for the benefit of club members, our community, and our country.

The Appleseed Project is a 501(c)3, non-profit, all-volunteer effort that has been tasked with
Returning America to a Nation of Riflemen.

Simply put, a Rifleman is an individual that possesses knowledge about the founding of our country, the ability to shoot a rifle accurately out to 500 yards, and the willingness to teach others these uniquely American skills.

At a family-friendly Appleseed event, participants learn from qualified Instructors the prone, seated, and offhand positions, sling usage, the Six Steps to Firing a Shot, Natural Point of Aim, how to zero a rifle, and much more!  Everyone, whether beginner or expert, will learn new skills together.

An Appleseed event does not merely provide Marksmanship instruction.  It also re-introduces attendees to their Heritage.  Passionate history lessons are given throughout the weekend detailing what transpired on April 19, 1775, when the first shots of our War for Independence were fired in Lexington and Concord.  If these lessons are taught anymore, it usually occurs through myth rather than fact.

Women, Children under 21, and Active Duty Military attend for free!  The cost for everyone else is merely $70 for a weekend ($45 for one day) of world class Marksmanship instruction, Heritage presentations, and family fun.

The Miamisburg Sportsmen's Club will host The Appleseed Project at the .22lr range on:

March 27-28
April 17-18
May 15-16
June 12-13
